Report at the 1-st Russian Congress "Academy of Laboratory Medicine: Advanced Achievement"

Recently, we were lucky enough to take part in the I Russian Congress with International Participation on Fundamental Problems of Laboratory Diagnostics "Academy of Laboratory Medicine: Advanced Achievement". The congress turned out to be representative and extremely informative, despite the fact it was held for the first time. Our CEO, Sergey Dolgushin, has made a scientific report on the topic: "Disposable pre-filled blisters as a lab-on-a-chip device: trends and prospects". An overview of modern technologies for the production of disposable blisters pre-filled with reagents was presented: piercing blister/burst blister, peelable foil blister, frangible foil blister, considering their main advantages and disadvantages, as well as application areas. Sergey suggested that there is a great future in frangible foil blisters, which have the newest production technology, offering flexible and functional solutions for Point-of-Care diagnostics. Currently, the Aivok company together with the X1 LLC is developing disposable blisters pre-filled with reagents as cartridges for Point-of-Care, and gladly invites potential Partners and Customers for cooperation!
