QUBIX Software

Purpose of the software

QUBIX Software is specialized software developed for use with the QUBIX fluorimeter (manufactured by Ivok). The main task is to automate the calculation of DNA, RNA and protein concentrations based on fluorimetric measurement data.

What is it used for?

The program is used in laboratory studies for:

  1. Quantitative analysis of biomolecules:
    • Determination of DNA, RNA and protein concentrations before PCR, sequencing or electrophoresis.
  2. Preparation of data for diagnostics:
    • Analysis of samples to detect pathogens (viruses, bacteria) in medical and veterinary laboratories.
  3. Research:
    • Use in biotechnological processes (gene cloning, RNA expression analysis).

Main functions and capabilities

  1. Automatic concentration calculation:
    • Converts fluorescent signals into quantitative indicators (ng/μl, μg/ml) using calibration curves.
    • Supports detection methods (PicoGreen for DNA, RiboGreen for RNA, Bradford/BCA for proteins).
  2. Measurement management:
    • Setting up experiment parameters.
    • Real-time data processing with display of graphs and tables.
  3. Export and documentation:
    • Generating reports in PDF and CSV.
    • Saving measurement history with search by date, sample.
  4. Calibration and validation:
    • Tools for calibrating the device with standard solutions.
  5. Technological basis:
    • The program is developed in C# using the Avalonia framework, which ensures cross-platform (works under Windows, Linux, macOS).
    • The software architecture allows for easy scaling of functionality and integration with other laboratory systems.

Application areas

  • Medical laboratories (diagnostics of infections, genetic tests).
  • Research centers (molecular biology, biotechnology).
  • Pharmaceuticals (quality control of biopreparations).
  • Veterinary and agriculture.

Conclusion

QUBIX Software, created on the basis of modern technologies (C#, Avalonia), provides accurate and convenient analysis of biomolecules, adapting to the requirements of various laboratory environments. Cross-platform architecture expands its use cases, making the tool accessible to a wide range of specialists.
