Fully automated laboratory

Since 2016, our team, together with the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after. N.F. Gamalei takes part in the development of the Detector-Bio device for detecting biopathogens in the air.

Passed the state tests of the "Detector-Bio", which were completed successfully and showed the high efficiency of the device.
"Detector-Bio" is a robot - a fully automated laboratory.

Specialty

In 10-30 minutes, it analyzes air samples for the presence of 86 pathogens of infectious diseases of a viral and bacterial nature.

Principle of operation

Upon receiving an air sample, it extracts microparticles and pathogenic biological agents (PBAs) into an aqueous solution. After that, the liquid sample is treated with ultrasound with additional purification from impurities. To increase the accuracy of PBA analysis, it is carried out by two methods: real-time polymerase chain reaction and immunofluorescence method.
